We are a registered Trust that advocates for and facilitates the development of the Tjwa/San people of South-western Zimbabwe. The Trust was registered in May 2014 and was formed as a vehicle primarily to champion the resuscitation and development of the Tjwao language and culture. This became the starting point for a wide ranging development discourse that seeks to empower the Tjwa people (who hitherto have been marginalized for different reasons) and enable them to participate in their own development and that of their community as equal citizens of a free and independent Zimbabwe.

SAN COMMUNITY IN ZIMBABAWE
Even after the adoption of the new Constitution, members of the San community still feel marginalised and denied freedoms and liberties as equal citizens of Zimbabwe.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
We have been working on the Tjwa language revitalization project for the past 8 years now and in the process, we have recorded videos, sound recordings and we have taken numerous photos. This year, we want to revisit the journey we undertook 8 years ago and we want to put together a documentary titled ‘A Journey to Recover Stolen Identity’.
